How Tax Toggle for WooCommerce works
Tax Toggle allows your customer to select whether they want to view the products on your store as including tax or excluding tax in the price. The option chosen by the customer is saved to the users device so when the customer moves from page to page the prices are shown as per their selection.
For store owners, setup is simple. The plugin automatically integrates based on your existing store tax settings and the customers tax settings, no need to add any additional tax settings or prices. Activate the plugin and straight away you should see our default Floating Button Toggle, which hovers on the side of your website. Other styles are available, or style your own.
Working with the Cart and Checkout
For a better user experience, the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout behaviour are different from other pages. On the Cart page, the tax toggle shows/hides the tax and total order in the order summary. It does not toggle the individual items as this could be confusing for the customer.
On the Checkout the toggle is hidden because the tax is displayed as per the checkout rules. e.g. by what location is selected in the address.
